Are Your Tires “A” Rated?
Everyone knows that driver education is important especially when it comes to buying the safest tires for your vehicle. The good news is the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) says that passenger vehicle tire quality has improved in the last year.
This year, NHTSA tested over 2,400 lines of tires and rated them based on three important criteria to educate drivers. The three criteria included heat resistance, traction and treadwear. The tires tested are specifically for passenger tires for cars, minivans, SUVs, and light pickup trucks. The quality is important but you can also find great prices online for discount tires.

Where you live and the climate will in many cases impact your tire buying decision. If you live in an extremely hot climate then heat resistance is important. If you live in an area with a lot of snow and wet conditions then you may want to focus on traction. No matter where you live you will want to consider treadwear.
