Florida Driving Records

There are many reasons to get a copy of your Florida driving record — also known as your license history. These Driving Records are delivered in a few minutes directly from a State approved provider.

If you wish to see past traffic citations where you elected traffic school you must order a complete driving record. The 3 and 7 year Florida DMV Driving Records do not reflect incidents where traffic school was elected.

Your complete driving record will be delivered via email within a few minutes and is the only way to see a complete history of your Florida Driving Record and past elections of traffic school and all other dispositions.

On a complete Driving Record you will see:
Driver license/identification card issuances, exams passed and driver education.
All guilty dispositions and adjudication withheld dispositions of traffic violations that appear on the entire record.

Crash entries, when a traffic citation was issued as a direct result of the crash. The crash entry has the same retention as an associated guilty disposition.

All open or closed suspensions, revocations, cancellations, disqualifications that appear on the complete driver history, unless the retention is met and the entry has purged.

D-6 suspensions (failure to comply) once cleared, remain on the record 1 year from the reinstatement date and are then converted to a correspondence entry for 2 more years. This correspondence entry does appear on a complete record, unless the retention is met and the entry has purged.

Correspondence entry indicating adjudication withheld-clerk of court (the person made school election when not eligible or made the election but did not complete the course). Department approved correspondence.

7 Year Driving Record - $

Your 7 year driving record will be delivered via email within a few minutes. The 7 year driving record includes many details of past exams taken, licensed issued, when you were found guilty of traffic violations, as well as suspensions, and more.

On a 7 Year Driving Record you will see:

Driver license/identification card issuances, exams passed and driver education.
Guilty dispositions of traffic violations, that are within 7 years of the disposition date.

Crash entries, when a traffic citation was issued as a direct result of the accident. The crash entry has the same retention as an associated guilty disposition.

All open suspensions, revocations, cancellations, disqualifications of the driving privilege.

Suspensions, revocations, cancellations, and disqualifications cleared within 3 or 7 years of the date the record is run, unless the retention is met and the entry has purged.

D-6 suspensions (failure to comply) once cleared, remain on the record 1 year from the reinstatement date and are then converted to a correspondence entry for 2 more years. Once this D6 entry converts to a correspondence entry it does not appear on 7 year driver records (transcripts).

3 Year Driving Record - $

Your 3 Year Driving Record will be delivered within a few minutes via email. the 3 year driving record will show you 3 years of history of traffic violations, guilty dispositions, exams you passed and driver educations courses you completed.

Get your Driving Record via Mail

Another option is to order your driving history from the Florida DMV by mail by submitting a written request as follows:

Please submit your written request with the individual's full name, birth date, social security number, Florida Drivers License Number, and an address to send the record to:
